The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters met for the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
