The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Fighters Table

Since the launch of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a wide array of characters, and a gripping narrative showcasing divine entities, evil spirits, and malevolent powers expanding in strength within the urban setting.

Warning: Key plot points for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Introduced

The third episode ended with a huge suspense moment and revealed the initial group of adventurers who will separate from the central cast to begin their own adventure, apart from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team features the determined fighter (played by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (Whitney), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

Dividing the Cast

Considering an extensive roster, it was clear from the outset that keeping everyone at a single group would be impossible.

This explains, the first four episodes of this story serve as an Prelude, connecting the individual narratives before dividing into three distinct groups: Warriors, Planners, and Explorers.

The Nature of the Warrior Group

As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for participants who are drawn to a classically intense combat and conflict-driven story mode where diplomatic options are scarce.

Upon first impression, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might appear out of place, but the actions of the latest installment demonstrate why these five characters are perfectly fit for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

For one thing, the group knows exactly where to go next after a violent initial meeting with the enemy group.

An old friend of the deceased character—whose death initiated the story’s plot—used The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, breaking into Thjazi’s hideout, striking the rogue, and swiping all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

Casimir then cleared his obligations and escaped to a fortified location in the remote area, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each member has a specific drive to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and trusted friend, desires vengeance.
  • The adventurer has experience in the region and cautions that it is a dangerous place.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having disobeyed his family’s wishes to eliminate Teor and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their position as important members in the powerful family could help the group reach areas they normally couldn’t.
  • Moreover, Teor swore a unbreakable promise to The savior for his deliverance and will now go with him everywhere.

Fugitives

Lastly, all of them are wanted by the rulers that rule the setting for a multiple motives, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • The rogue and The character are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and The cleric betrayed House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • Teor is targeted for elimination by the family.

This leaves them no alternative but to journey toward the northern region in search of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

From episode three’s follow-up content, we learn that the combat party will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the cast members to assemble the Questers and Planners parties.

Fans can expect learning which adventurers will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on next week.
